The International College of Geriatric Psychoneuropharmacology is pleased to announce the availability of International Junior Investigator Awards for attendance at the 2012 Annual Meeting in Sevilla, Spain, October 24-27, 2012.
These International Junior Investigator Awards are open to investigators from any country who must be within 8 years (fulltime equivalent) of completing their training (residency for MDs or post-doctoral fellowship for PhDs) and who are no higher than the Assistant Professor level. The applicants must have an academic track record in the field of geriatric psychoneuropharmacology. This will usually be evidenced by some publications in peer reviewed journals and/or presentations of posters/talks at national or international meetings.
Meeting registration for Junior Investigator Awardees will be waived. In addition, ICGP membership dues for 2013 will be paid for each Awardee. Travel expenses such as air fare and hotel costs will be at the Awardees expense.

The nominee's curriculum vitae including a list of publications and/or research support and/or teaching and/or clinical responsibilities.

A 300-500 word Applicant's Statement. Starting a new page, and with your name at the top, briefly describe your current major research theme(s) and/or relevant professional responsibilities. Major relevant contributions should be included with a description of their overall significance and importance to the Mission of the ICGP. A brief statement of future directions also needs to be included.
- Letter of recommendation from a senior scientist who will be the sponsor and can knowledgeably address the candidate's interest, involvement and accomplishments in the field of psychoneuropharmacology.
